Office Tour

Visit

When you arrive for your appointment, we will review your medical and dental health history, and will conduct a thorough examination to measure bone loss, loose teeth, bite, TMJ and other signs of periodontal disease. We will also perform an oral cancer screening. If applicable. For dental implant patients, a 3D CT scan may be recommended. This scan allows for analysis of available bone, anatomical structures and nerves prior to implant placement, improving the precision and safety of this procedure.

Our doctors, with your input, will establish a treatment plan to address your disease and discuss treatment alternatives to help you obtain optimal periodontal health. It is important to us that you have the time to understand the recommended treatment. A typical periodontal exam lasts about 65 to 90 minutes. Our specialists will provide a treatment recommendation, aligned with your referring practice, that will best suit your long-term needs.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
