Meet Andrew H. Chon, DMD
Periodontist in Tallahassee, FL
Dr. Andrew Chon was born and raised in Orange County, CA and attended his dream school of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received a B.S. degree in Physiological Sciences. Soon thereafter, he went on to obtain not only his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree but also his specialty certificate in Periodontics and dental implants from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
During his studies at University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Chon trained under the guidance and mentorship of both Periodontal and Prosthodontic faculty members to provide comprehensive care. Dr. Chon is well versed in providing periodontal treatments that include but not limited to soft and hard tissue periodontal procedures, designing and fabricating his own surgical implant guides, and full mouth rehabilitation dental implant therapy. Furthermore, Dr. Chon was trained under the tutelage of one of the few accredited dental anesthesia programs in the country and can provide IV moderate sedation for dental procedures.
Dr. Chon is excited to be in Tallahassee with his wife, Amy, who he met during dental school and is a dentist herself. They have two small Pomeranians that want constant love and attention. In his spare time, Dr. Chon enjoys watching and playing basketball and football, going to the gym, and spending time with his family and friends.
