I have severe dental anxiety due to suffering a traumatic sports injury to my mouth in my past. I allowed my fear and a few bad office experiences to discourage me from maintaining my regular dental visits - COVID gave me more excuses to hide behind, and soon I was in trouble and I finally reached out and made a call to Perio Associates schedule an exam. From the first phone call, everyone was so reassuring. My first visit, I cried on the drive there, I cried talking to my hygienist, I cried talking to the doctor - I was generally an embarrassing mess. Nobody treated me like I was crazy, nobody judged me, and everyone gave me so much compassion that I was able to schedule more visits and complete the care I needed to reclaim my healthy smile. I was so relieved to find out that Perio Associates also offers regular cleanings, and I’m so happy to schedule my future visits with Mrs. Judy and Doctor G.
